v0.3.3-Beta
Improved Kick reliability, TikTok emoji display, and a new overlay switcher.
Kick
- Kick chat now reconnects automatically after an auth refresh so you do not lose messages mid-stream.
- Manual Kick refresh also reconnects without needing to restart the app.
TikTok
- Bracket-style emoji characters in TikTok chat now display correctly instead of showing raw fallback text.
Overlays
- Added an overlay switcher so you can quickly select between Chat Overlay and Alert Overlay from the Overlays screen.
- Cleaned up OBS browser source copy buttons so they are easier to use.

- No activation screen when you open KairoDock for the first time. Just install and you are ready to go.
- The setup flow is cleaner with fewer screens to get through before you can stream.
- Twitch connections now recover on their own when your setup needs attention.

Overlay customization
- Fixed overlay customization behavior so saved visual settings apply more consistently.
- Improved parity between hosted and local overlays for alert rendering and customization payloads.
- Fixed alert style defaults so new and reset alert overlays start from the intended visual settings.
- Improved font handling for overlay presets and fallback fonts.
- Cleaned up the Minimal alert preset so it stays intentionally simple and consistent.
Platform events
- Fixed the TikTok likes threshold so TikFinity like events respect the configured alert threshold.
- Filtered Kick metadata updates out of normal alert display so stream status noise does not appear as viewer alerts.
Regression hardening
- Hardened overlay regression and end-to-end checks around hosted/local alert parity, defaults, and visual-only behavior.

New layout
- Added the Live dashboard for chat, alerts, platform status, TTS status, and stream readiness.
- Added the Connections screen for Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and TikTok via TikFinity.
- Moved platform setup, event behavior, overlay links, and app preferences into clearer screens.
Connections
- Kept Twitch, YouTube, and Kick as normal KairoDock connections.
- Kept TikTok support through TikFinity during beta.

Events and alerts
- Reworked Events into a summary-first layout for follows, subscriptions, gifts, redemptions, chat, sounds, and TTS behavior.
- Added clearer Display on stream control for event visuals.
- Kept alert sounds and TTS owned by KairoDock.exe in the normal beta setup.
Overlays
- Separated Chat Dock and Alert Dock links for streaming software panels.
- Separated Chat Overlay and Alert Overlay links for on-stream visuals.
- Added Alert Overlay presets and customization.
- Simplified the Overlays screen around previewing, copying links, and what the stream sees.
- Kept Chat Overlay and Alert Overlay visual-only in the normal beta setup.
TTS
- Focused normal TTS setup on System Voices and Kokoro Local.
- Removed older external TTS and automation dependencies from the normal beta setup path.
- Clarified that stream audio for alert sounds and TTS should come from capturing KairoDock.exe as an application audio source.
Reliability and beta polish
- Improved persistence for setup state, overlay links, event settings, and beta-day workflow details.
- Improved reliability around busy chat, alert routing, duplicates, reconnects, and stale events.
- Polished diagnostics, layout behavior, and troubleshooting wording.
Important notes
- No KairoDock account is required.
- TikTok support uses TikFinity for now.
- Chat Overlay and Alert Overlay are visual-only in the normal beta setup.
- If you want alert sounds or TTS on stream, capture KairoDock.exe as an application audio source in your streaming software.
