Guide
Streamer.bot
Streamer.bot is the required bridge for Twitch, YouTube, Kick chat, alerts, and moderation.
What Streamer.bot handles
- Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chat input.
- Alert and notification events supported by your Streamer.bot setup.
- Moderation actions such as timeout, ban, untimeout, unban, and undo where supported.
- Stable local event routing into KairoDock's normalized feed.
Connect it
- Start Streamer.bot before opening the KairoDock connection check.
- Confirm Streamer.bot's local WebSocket or integration endpoint is enabled.
- In KairoDock, open Setup Assistant and run the Streamer.bot check.
- Use the host and port shown in your Streamer.bot settings if the defaults do not match.
- Send a test chat message or alert and confirm it appears in KairoDock.
If it does not connect
- Verify Streamer.bot is running and the integration endpoint is enabled.
- Check that no firewall prompt is blocking local communication.
- Restart the connection from KairoDock rather than rebuilding the setup.
- Open diagnostics and share the recent connection error in Discord support.
