Guide

Streamer.bot

Streamer.bot is the required bridge for Twitch, YouTube, Kick chat, alerts, and moderation.

What Streamer.bot handles

  • Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chat input.
  • Alert and notification events supported by your Streamer.bot setup.
  • Moderation actions such as timeout, ban, untimeout, unban, and undo where supported.
  • Stable local event routing into KairoDock's normalized feed.

Connect it

  • Start Streamer.bot before opening the KairoDock connection check.
  • Confirm Streamer.bot's local WebSocket or integration endpoint is enabled.
  • In KairoDock, open Setup Assistant and run the Streamer.bot check.
  • Use the host and port shown in your Streamer.bot settings if the defaults do not match.
  • Send a test chat message or alert and confirm it appears in KairoDock.

If it does not connect

  • Verify Streamer.bot is running and the integration endpoint is enabled.
  • Check that no firewall prompt is blocking local communication.
  • Restart the connection from KairoDock rather than rebuilding the setup.
  • Open diagnostics and share the recent connection error in Discord support.
